# Subscribers

Subscribers to your channel will receive notifications when your scheduled event is live. They will also receive alerts when new videos are available to watch.

**Important:** Your live event must be scheduled using the Live Service Guide to notify subscribers of the event.

**To ensure your subscribers get notifications when you go live:**

1. Schedule your live stream by adding your event to the **Live Service Guide.**
2. It will also be a good idea to update your event descriptions weekly to give your subscribers the latest about your ministry and upcoming services.

**To ensure your subscribers get notifications on new video content:**

1. Update your video titles and descriptions. Videos without valuable titles and descriptions will likely not be used when alerting subscribers of new content.

**Subscriber Count**\
Your subscriber count can be found by logging into your account and visiting the Broadcast Panel.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.christianworldmedia.com/documentation-and-guides/subscribers.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
